Hymn Book Storage & Shelving

Storage of hymn books has to be easily accessible; in some situations movable, in others fixed. Trolleys and shelves must be of the required size to accommodate the maximum number of books whilst taking up a minimum of space.

Woods can be chosen and designs made to match existing furnishings or reflect a more contemporary taste. Treske are frequently asked to make such items as part of wider re-ordering and restoration projects.

St Deiniol’s Library
Wall-hung bookshelves in oak were designed and made by Treske for the new chapel at Britain’s only residential library founded by Gladstone. The subtle Gothic and Arts and Crafts stylistic references reflect their surroundings.
